As you can see, I never really got around to doing this blog properly. However, I have been very fortunate and have commenced my flight training on the British Airways Future Pilot Programme!

Here goes!
Basically, this summer I’m finally going to learn to fly! I’ve been gliding for about 2 years, and I’ve finally bitten the bullet and saved up enough for at least 15 hours. I’m going to supplement this by getting a job over the summer (which will also be paying for my gap year!). This blog will hopefully end up as a nice record of the journey, as it might give you an idea of what to expect should you want to give it a try! I’ll try and stick in some photo’s and video’s as well to make things a bit more interesting. Blue skies!
